"We started with a single wood-fired oven, a handful of family recipes, and a dream to bring Walla Walla its most memorable slice of pizza."

Green Lantern Pizza was founded in 2009 by Marco and Elena Rossi, two culinary enthusiasts who moved from Naples to Washington State and missed the authentic flavours of traditional Italian pizzeria. They opened their doors on E Isaacs Ave with just six tables, a stone-fired oven imported from Italy, and a commitment to sourcing only the freshest local produce.

Word spread quickly. The community of Walla Walla embraced their handcrafted doughs, imported San Marzano tomatoes, and wood-roasted toppings. Today, Green Lantern Pizza is not just a restaurant — it's a gathering place for families, friends, and pizza lovers from across the Pacific Northwest who crave real, honest food made with heart.

A Decade of Delicious Milestones

2009

Doors Open on Isaacs Ave

Marco and Elena Rossi open the first Green Lantern Pizza with a 6-table dining room, a stone-fired oven, and three signature pizzas that would change Walla Walla forever.

2011

Best Pizza in Walla Walla Award

Just two years in, Green Lantern Pizza was voted Best Pizza by the Walla Walla Union-Bulletin readers' poll — a title we've held consecutively ever since.

2014

Full Renovation & Expansion

We doubled our seating capacity, added an outdoor patio, introduced a full Italian wine list, and unveiled our extended menu including house-made pasta and fresh salads.

2017

Catering & Events Launch

Responding to overwhelming demand, we launched our dedicated catering service, bringing the Green Lantern experience to weddings, corporate events, and private gatherings across Eastern Washington.

2020

Online Ordering & Community Support

We launched contactless online ordering and donated over 2,000 pizzas to Walla Walla healthcare workers and essential staff — because community always comes first.

2024

15 Years Strong & Growing

Celebrating 15 incredible years, we introduced our new seasonal menu, launched the Green Lantern Loyalty Program, and continue to serve Walla Walla with the same passion as day one.
